Twenty years ago, the band DOT 3 played their almost-final show at the Oasis in San Jose, California. Luckily, they’ve decided to remedy that situation with a special reunion show at the Blank Club on November 18, 2011 – Video by Eric Predoehl https://www.youtube.com/user/eplouie

Dot 3 show. This performance took place at San Jose State University sometime in 1987. They were the opening band for the Untouchables that night. This song is “In the Desert,” which was typically used at the end of show, involving some percussive audience participation. – Video by Eric Predoehl https://www.youtube.com/user/eplouie

Dot 3, a rockin’ band that fused a whole bunch of musical genres together – African beat, punk, funk, garage rock, soul, and jazz. They were based in the San Francisco – San Jose region before breaking up in 1991. They had a catchy little song about dinosaurs, so I combined some concert footage I shot of the band with some clips from the Willis O’Brien silent movie LOST WORLD, which is in the public domain. I actually won a “Bay Cable Music Video Competition” in 1989 for this little bare-budget video, receiving a plaque as the 2nd place winner. I had a lot of fun putting this video together, and I hope folks enjoy watching it. – Video by Eric Predoehl https://www.youtube.com/user/eplouie
